Parabellum International is proud to reflect on a milestone month at our new Naval Base Training Centre—a purpose-built facility designed to elevate standards in emergency response training across Western Australia.
In just a few short weeks, our training centre has already demonstrated its capacity to deliver industry-relevant qualifications, host pioneering programs, and bring together emergency response professionals from across the state.
Empowering Women in Emergency Response
In partnership with Mineral Resources Limited and Monarch Management, Parabellum proudly hosted the inaugural Women in Rescue Pilot Program—an initiative designed to empower women and increase gender diversity within the emergency response sector.
This pilot program represents a significant step forward in providing inclusive, hands-on training for women looking to enter or progress in roles such as Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, firefighters, and rescue personnel. Delivered in a supportive, real-world training environment, the program reflects our broader commitment to workforce development, diversity, and industry leadership.
First Certificate III Course Delivered Onsite
We also celebrated the delivery of the first full RII30719 Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue at our Naval Base facility—another milestone in the growth of our Registered Training Organisation (RTO No: 51786).
Participants from across Western Australia undertook intensive, scenario-based training aligned to site-based emergency response needs. This nationally recognised qualification equips ERT personnel with the skills and knowledge required to respond to a wide range of emergency situations in high-risk industries such as mining, oil and gas, and heavy industry.
The successful delivery of this program not only demonstrates the capability of our trainers and facilities, but also highlights our role as a leading provider of emergency response and rescue training in the region.
A Foundation for Growth and Capability Building
These achievements mark the beginning of a new chapter for Parabellum International’s training and development division. With strong partnerships, experienced trainers, and a growing suite of accredited and non-accredited programs, we are focused on building a safer, more capable workforce for industry.
We extend our sincere thanks to our delivery partners, participants, and trainers who contributed to these outstanding outcomes—and we look forward to continuing our work in expanding access to high-quality emergency response training across Western Australia and beyond.
