The 3M™ high pressure reducers are based on the successful Contour/Modulair reducer and constructed from nickelplated brass. The HP-RED reducer provides a source of low pressure air
from a single 200 or 300 bar cylinder via a female socket CEN type coupling. A photoluminescent gauge provides a reading of the air remaining in the cylinder and a warning whistle which
activates when the air pressure drops to 55 bar. The HP-RED is ideal for using as an air source when extra air is needed for decontamination an SCBA wearer or as a source of air for an airline user.
Applications
The 3M™ high pressure reducers are used to reduce high pressure air in 200 or 300 bar cylinders to medium pressure.
