The Ro-Tank is a high quality durable, flexible fluid storage tank that can be used on land or floating in water (with the addition of an air pillow).
Unlike common pillow tanks, the Ro-Tank is moulded in robust, reinforced neoprene rubber with a hypalon outer layer. This ensures the tank has the most reliable construction without the many seams that can fail due to exposure to the environment. The hypalon external skin has high abrasion and puncture resistance and will withstand long periods of exposure to sun, and many types of liquids.
Ro-Tank lies completely flat when empty, allowing it to be rolled for storage. The Ro-Tank flexible fluid storage tank is manufactured as a tube that can be opened at the ends for cleaning. To deploy the Ro-Tank, it is unrolled in a suitable location. If the tank is being used on a mobile structure such as vessel deck or truck it should be properly secured.
For use in water, the Ro-Tank should be coupled to auxiliary floatation units (pillow floats/fenders) that can be inflated from low-pressure source.
The Ro-Tank flexible fluid storage tank has bright reflective strips along its surface to aid identification in water. Towing equipment will be attached to the front tow bar. Filling and emptying is achieved with flexible hoses. Ro-Tanks are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 5 to 50 m³.
