Troilboom AF (air-filled) is a lightweight, rapid-response, air filled containment boom that is ideal for operations in ports, harbours, inland and coastal waters – where a quick response is required.
Troilboom AF is a lightweight rapid response inflatable boom with a similar design to Ro-Boom, ideal for situations where a quick response is required, but a solid buoyancy fence boom is not suitable. The boom is manufactured as standard in bright orange polyurethane for durability, flexibility and strength. A ballast chain and top wire provide a high tensile strength.
Troilboom AF air filled containment boom incorporates two Monsun type air valves per section. Up to 200 metres of Troilboom AF can be stored on a reel which can be deployed in less than 5 minutes. ASTM quick connectors are provided for the quick assembly of boom sections. Troilboom AF is manufactured in bright orange polyurethane (PU) coated woven polyester and a top wire combined with ballast chain provides for a high tensile strength. The smooth profile of the TROILBOOM AF enables easier cleaning after use in an oil spill.
