The Parabellum Rosenbauer Open Day, held on Thursday, 12th September 2024, at Elizabeth Quay, was an outstanding success. The event brought together a wide array of professionals, from fire and emergency services personnel to industry executives, to experience the latest innovations in firefighting technology.

Attendees had the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of this state-of-the-art vehicle, showcasing its advanced capabilities and cutting-edge technology designed to improve safety and efficiency in emergency situations.

In addition to the fire appliance launch, the event featured a live demonstrations of the RTE Multifunctional Firefighting Robot. This innovative robot captivated the audience with its versatility and precision in handling high-risk firefighting scenarios. As one of the most advanced robotic tools in the industry, it underscored the importance of embracing new technologies in firefighting.

The open day was honoured to host Minister for Emergency Services, Stephen Dawson, who expressed his support for the ongoing development of firefighting capabilities in Western Australia. The event also welcomed a number of DFES firefighters, who explored the equipment on display and engaged with the Rosenbauer team to gain valuable insights into the latest trends in firefighting.

We were also pleased to see participation from mining executives and key decision-makers from various industries, further emphasising the importance of safety and emergency response innovations across different sectors.

As part of the event, Parabellum held a business card giveaway for a HEROS H10 AS Wildfire and Technical Rescue Helmet. Congratulations to Ross Jennings, Chief Safety and People Officer at Australian Vanadium, for being the lucky winner of this highly sought-after piece of firefighting gear!
